Learn more about how you can help neighbors.
Help us define a new hub process for "Places to Check" in Madison Valley after a disaster. By proactively scouting the area we can identify issues and gather information to share with neighbors. As a group, we will identify where to check, what we want to learn, and what actions to request. Snacks and beverages provided.

MLK FAME Community Center (3201 E Republican St), community room
Learn valuable “urban survival” skills to support your household and neighbors. Topics include handling utilities (gas, electricity, water), water storage, communicating when phone lines are down, pet preparedness and much more.
Saturday, April 25th, 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm
Montlake Community Center (1618 E Calhoun St)
Learn about possible risks, like earthquakes, and how to prepare for them. In addition to our emergency preparedness expert, we’ll have handouts and prizes to give away.
